EarthSpirit is just 25 minutes drive from the Great Western Railway inter-city stop at Castle Cary.

By Train:

From London Paddington take a GWR train towards Exeter/Plymouth/Paignton/Penzance and alight at Castle Cary station. Please make sure the train you are boarding stops in Castle Cary as not all trains stop. The train journey from London Paddington to Castle Cary is around 1 hour 45 minutes and the station is a 25 minute drive from EarthSpirit. From Castle Cary Station you can:

2) Take the South West Coaches 667 bus from Castle Cary to the town called Street (667 Timetable). This runs approximately every 2 hours (limited on Saturday and none on Sunday), then you will need to get the 77 (77 Timetable) bus from the town called Street to Compton Dundon (towards Yeovil). Stop at the second stop in Compton Dundon, Ham Lane Bus Stop (at the monument), and walk along Ham Lane, Goose Lane, then Peak Lane. EarthSpirit is a 20 minute walk from the bus stop and is sign posted on Peak Lane.

Alternatively, you can take the South Western Railway train from London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction however this takes longer.

By Bus:

The nearest bus stop to EarthSpirit is Ham Lane Bus Stop which is located on the First West of England route 77 (and 55). Alternatively, the nearest town is Street (Crispin Hall/Library) or a little further Glastonbury (Town Hall).


The First West of England 374, 375, and 376 services run direct from Bristol to Street every 30 mins Mon-Sat or every 60 minutes on Sundays (374/375/376 Timetable). The 376 runs late into the evenings.


The First West of England service 77 runs from Wells, Glastonbury, Street and Yeovil to Compton Dundon (77 Timetable).


All bus fares in Somerset are currently £2 under the government's £2 single fare cap. All buses accept cash and contactless card.

From Castle Cary Station:

From Yeovil Junction Station:Take the 68 bus (Mondays to Saturdays only) to Yeovil Bus Station and then the 77 (77 Timetable) to Compton Dundon or book a taxi. The 77 runs hourly Monday to Saturday.

From Bristol Airport:Take the A1 bus to Temple Meads train station (runs every 15 mins about £8). This service runs 24 hours a day (A1 Timetable).
At Temple Meads walk back to the road, at the corner you have the bus stop. Take the First West of England 374/375/376 service to the town called Street (runs every 30 min). Then take a bus for Compton Dundon, see below.

From Street or Glastonbury:
1) From Street or Glastonbury catch the 77 (77 Timetable) bus to Compton Dundon (direction Yeovil). The 77 runs hourly Mon-Sat and there is no service on Sundays. Stop at the second stop (Ham Lane) in Compton Dundon (at the monument), and walk 20 mins along Ham Lane, Goose Lane, then Peak Lane. EarthSpirit is sign posted on Peak Lane.

By Car:

From London take the M3 for c 39 miles to the A303 . Fork left and follow the A303 for c 77 miles. (Be prepared for possible traffic slow down at Amesbury 2 miles before Stonehenge (c 49 miles before EarthSpirit). Drive past Wincanton to the large Podimore roundabout, turning on to the A372 signposted Langport. Turn second right onto the B3151 signposted to Glastonbury, Somerton, Street , and Kingsdon . Follow this road passed Somerton and Littleton hamlet. 500 yards after Littleton, just before Dundon Hill , take the turning left signposted Dundon called Peak Lane. Follow this lane for nearly one mile until you see a house on the left with a rusty , faded once black iron railing in front. Immediately after this house turn left on a small lane signed to EarthSpirit. Turn left just before thatched farmhouse into concrete yard and park. Large, tiled, converted barn is the home of EarthSpirit.

From M5 take Junction 23 signposted Glastonbury. Follow signs to Glastonbury (A39) through the village of Ashcott, until the Pipers Arms pub on right. Turn onto the road on the right just before the Pipers Arms signposted to Berhill, in the direction of Somerton. Follow this all the way to crossroads. At intersection turn right on B3151 towards Somerton. In Compton Dundon turn right onto Ham Lane, signed to school and church. Follow this lane for nearly one mile, bear left round bend, up hill, past right turn to church and left hand turn to the school. Take next right turn into small lane, immediately after red brick bungalow and before black iron railings. Turn left just before thatched farmhouse into concrete yard and park. Large tiled, converted barn is the home of EarthSpirit.

1) Cycling is possible. We are 13 miles from Castle Cary station, 5 miles from
the bus stop in Glastonbury and 3 miles from the bus stop in the town called Street.

wherever you are.
3) We have a cycle rack for storage + showers.

By Plane:
