Vinyasa Flow - Mixed ability class
You will move through sequences of postures from Hatha yoga woven into a flow using breath, alignment, balance & focus.
In Yoga we use a wider range of motion of our joints and to support the joints we also need to strenghten the muscles around them, that is why I believe in working not only flexibility but also strength.
Being mindful in our movements, we rest the mind from its daily chatter and prevent injuries.
The class finishes with a guided deep Relaxation.
Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Yoga are a dynamic form of Hatha yoga. There is a focus on the breath which provides the rhythm to move from one position to another as well as igniting a fire that burns toxins and give more flexibility which leaves you refreshed, aligned and clear.
Françoise is living at the EarthSpirit centre. Began yoga with the Iyengar style (precision) 20 years ago and fell in love with Ashtanga Yoga 4 years later. This passion led her to study further and qualify to teach.

Ashtanga Primary Series: (We are not aiming to achieve this in the class!! Just thought it good to watch once. Observe the pace but speed up the video if you want to see the whole practice). Enjoy.
